Sponsored by the Anderson Trojan Baseball Booster Club, the Home Field Advantage Campaign seeks to raise the funds needed to make Anderson High School in Austin, TX the best it can be by improving and upgrading the school's baseball field.
With an acclaimed IB program and advanced learning opportunities in engineering, robotics, fine arts, Anderson H.S. is consistently ranked among the best high schools in the U.S.
We are proud to be part of a school that promotes excellence for our kids. And we are dedicated to continuing to build on this culture of excellence by bringing the baseball field up to standard.
Currently, the baseball facilities at Anderson have not been properly updated since 1973.
Most notably, the field does not have lights, and therefore Anderson varsity players must commute across town to host home games at a different high school. The lack of lights also dramatically reduces the capacity to play during the spring season, as practices and JV games are often cut short when the sun goes down.
By installing lights and making the other needed improvements, we would help give both the baseball teams and the entire AHS community the Home Field Advantage it needs by increasing opportunities for students, players, families, and community members to come together in school spirit.
Together, we can make Anderson High School the best it can be. Please join us in supporting our campaign!
