WALK: 6:00 PM (1 mile roundtrip barefoot on the beach)
CELEBRATIONS: 7:00 PM
The Walk for the Greyhounds Barefoot on the Beach is an annual fundraising event honoring and celebrating greyhounds and the families who open their hearts to them. It is also an Alumni Reunion. We moved to Bonita Springs in 2017. Unless you come to visit us at the Sanctuary we dont get the opportunity to see our beloved adopted dogs. The Walk kicks off the Thanksgiving Season and with it, our immense GRATITUDE for your help and support.
We promise an unforgettable evening.
All well-behaved leashed dogs of any breed are welcome to join us for this special night of fun and activities. We will have many Games and Contests, including: Best Greyhound Sit, Baldest Butt, Best Tricks, Musical Chairs, Owner-Pet Look-a-like. There will also be a Raffle, a Boutique featuring Greyhound items, and including our beautiful collars which may be used on any breed of dog. There will also be complimentary Vegan Food, and a Blessing of the Dogs by the Franciscan Brothers.
We have amazing gifts to reward everyone for their fundraising efforts. Ask your friends, co-workers and relatives to make a contribution for the Greyhounds. Sign un today and start sharing. The sign-up process is very easy.
