Hello friends and family,
With the economic upheaval that COVID19 has caused across the country and globe Teague and I feel much gratitude for our economic security this year. We both continue to be employed and have been working from home throughout the pandemic.
We also are aware that many families aren't as fortunate, especially this year. According to Food Lifeline's website, this year, twice as many neighbors are experiencing food insecurity than ever before. One in five neighbors and co-workers in Western Washington often have to choose between paying rent and having enough to eat. I have witnessed this unprecedented increase in food insecurity firsthand through my work as a public health nurse and I feel a social responsibility to help.
You may already know about the organization, Food Lifeline. They are a hunger-relief organization. They rescue millions of pounds of surplus food every year and redirect it to more than 300 food banks, shelters, and meal programs across Western Washington. With support from generous donors they help they provide the equivalent of 134,000 meals every single day to people experiencing hunger in our communities.
Teague and I have set up a virtual food drive this holiday season to raise funds for this important service. We are hoping for just a small donation of $5-10 that we can add up to a larger donation. Whatever amount you are able to give will go a long way.

Thank you so much for considering donating to Food Lifeline through our virtual drive. On another note, I look forward to being together in-person with you eventually. Until then, know that we are thinking of you and are so grateful for you. Have a very healthy and happy holiday!
Tamryn, Teague and Howie
