As you know, we lost David on September 14. Throughout the nearly four years he lived after his diagnosis, he remained committed to helping the MSA Coalition in the work to support patients and their families and to help fund critical research to find a cure. Early on, David provided DNA and other biological markers to researchers, telling one young scientist, “For you, my biology is open source.” Though he believed it was unlikely a cure would be found in time for him, he wanted to do everything he could to spare others the devastating effects of this horrible disease.
So for that reason, I come to you asking for your support for the MSA Coalition’s Holiday Hope campaign.
The Coalition has funded studies already that are showing great promise. Please join me in helping support those facing this disease and encouraging researchers to continue pursuing the cure.--Diane Adkins
