JOIN US FOR A SPECIAL FUNDRAISING EVENT IN HONOR OF MICHAEL J. WYMAN, HUMANITARIAN
To honor the memory of Michael J. Wyman, we are hosting a Fundraiser to support the International Rescue Committee (IRC) in the New York/New Jersey area. The enduring values and activities of the IRC are aligned with those exemplified by Michael during his lifetime.
ABOUT THE IRC
The International Rescue Committee responds to the world’s worst humanitarian crises and helps people whose lives and livelihoods are shattered by conflict and disaster to survive, recover, and gain control of their future. Thousands of refugees flee conflict, dire hardships and upheaval to arrive in the US with hopes of new beginnings and eager to contribute their unique skills to the United States. The IRC creates opportunities for these refugees and asylees to establish successful new lives. Through a network of holistic programs and services, the IRC in New York and New Jersey annually assists over 4,000 refugees, asylees and other immigrants to become self-reliant, integrated and contributing members in their new communities.
WHY SUPPORT THE IRC?
When you make a tax-deductible gift to the International Rescue Committee (IRC), you are contributing to one of the best-rated charities in the world. For more than 80 years, the IRC has been providing effective — and efficient — humanitarian aid to millions of families caught in crisis worldwide. We help people whose lives and livelihoods are shattered by conflict and disaster to survive, recover, and gain control of their futures in more than 40 countries and in 28 U.S. cities.
