I am proud to be raising money for The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp and running Boston marathon 2020. Running Boston marathon has been my dream since I started running and it will mean so much more to me to be running it and raising money for such a great cause.
When I asked my 10 year old son Bentley what he thought about this charity, he said that every kid deserves one good memory from their childhood that they will remember forever. He also said that every kid goes thru hard stuff or gets bullies and to be able to make friends and have happy times will shape them as adults.
It costs $2,500.00 for 1 child to go to camp free of charge for a week. That is one child that can be worry free and can just be a kid for a week. I am honored to be able to make it happen.
Founded in 1988 by Paul Newman, The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp is a community dedicated to providing “a different kind of healing” to children and their families coping with cancer, sickle cell anemia and other serious illnesses. Through summer sessions and family weekend programs at the Camp in Ashford, Connecticut, and year-round outreach to hospitals and clinics throughout the Northeast and mid-Atlantic the Camp serves more than 20,000 children and family members annually. All services are free of charge.
