Julianna Lynne Preciado came into the world with a very rough start. She only weighed 4 pounds 6 ounces and was rushed to the NICU due to low oxygen levels and hypoglycemia (low blood sugar). While in the NICU it was found that she had a stroke with two brain bleeds. Because of this, she suffered damage to the right side of her brain. This affects the left side of her body causing weakness, also known as hemiplegia. Julianna has been diagnosed with left hemiplegic cerebral palsy.
Children’s Hemiplegia and Stroke Association (CHASA) is a non-profit that provides help and support for children to become successful independent adults. Julianna is strong willed and we are thankful organizations exist to help other brave children like her. Your donations to the CHASA are greatly appreciated.
