On September 12th, runners from the Hoboken Harriers Running Club (HOHA) will be running the Boston Marathon as a virtual event in support of Achilles NYC. The HOHAs will be welcoming two Achilles runners who had previously qualified for Boston but were unable to run due to COVID-10 (Melissa Blume and Mauricio Blandino). The mission of Achilles is to transform the lives of people with disabilities through athletic programs and social connection. If you've seen visually impaired runners and runners/wheelers with other disabilities at the NYC Marathon trekking through the 5 boroughs in their bright yellow shirts, that's the Achilles team! Please consider supporting this wonderful organization by donating in honor of runenrs and relay participants who are running the HOHA COVID-19 Virtual Boston Marathon. Go Achilles!
