HO.G.A.R'S Senior Club House and Case Management program has been operating since 2003. It has been a community based services for seniors living the South Bronx. The Senior services, goals and philosophy is to restore an individual's ability for independent living, socialization and effective live management. And to build on personal strengths to offset the effects of the aging process, illness and history of homelessness in coordination with other treatments and services. We provide nutrional meals and counseling, social, craft and cultural activities, transportation, entitlement services and Health & Disease Prevention education on site. All services are free of charge and provided every day from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. We also provide training and employment on site along side with the AARP foundation and Maturity works. All members have equal access to all services and activities. As seniors experience physical and sensory decline, the need for community based services that are helpful to maintain active and a healthy life style more important to longevity. HOGAR SENIOR CLUB HOUSE provides all these services and is currently in need of funds to continue providing these essential services and support to our aging community. Our programs operates solely on donations and discretionary funding that is no longer sufficient for us to continue we our mission. Your donation will make a big difference . We are looking to raise funds for nutrional meals, the rent of the center and an a recreational and activities specialist.
