Suicide is the second leading cause of death in the US for people ages 15 – 24.
Vermont’s suicide rate is higher than the national average.
Project Hoeppner was created to increase awareness about the catastrophe that is teen suicide and offer courage for teens to say “I need help” and for their loved ones to hear it. The goal of sponsored events is to create opportunities for teens, loved ones and the community to connect and communicate honestly with each other…without judgement. I have chosen to show my support of Project HOePpnEr by participating in the Hope for TomorROW event and fundraiser. I hope you will support me in my effort to reach my goal by making a donation.
Project HOePpnEr is a recognized Vermont non-profit, currently seeking IRS Charity status. Lake Champlain Maritime Museum has graciously agreed to act as fiscal sponsor for our Hope for TomorROW fundraising efforts. Proceeds will benefit Project HOePpnEr and its mission.
