I am so excited to announce that I am officially running the 2018 Boston Marathon in support of The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp. Thank you for visiting my donation page, where my goal is to raise $10,000 for this incredible organization that helps bring joy and healing to over 20,000 sick children and their family members.
The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp is dedicated to providing “a different kind of healing” to seriously ill children and their families throughout the Northeast, free of charge. It’s a community that celebrates the fun, friendship and spirit of childhood, where every kid can “raise a little hell.” Based out of Ashford, CT, they offer week long summer camps and weekend family retreats for severely sick children and their families. When kids are unable to make it to camp, the Hole in the Wall Gang makes their way to them with various out-reach programs in communities and hospitals throughout the northeast; one of these being at Boston Children’s Hospital, where I have worked for the last four years.
As someone who absolutely loved summer camp as a kid, I feel very passionate about being able to help give that experience to others, especially to those who are sick, and have to spend a lot of time at doctor’s appointments and in hospitals. Please help me in bringing the fun, carefree memories of summer camp to those kids who deserve it the most. I will be running for them on April 16th, 2018.
Thank you so much for your support!
