In the family, besides Taras, there are three siblings. They live in a rural village. Taras attends a specialized boarding school, because there are no schools nearby that will allow him to attend.
Taras has a special smile. He pleases the outside world, every word and every encounter.
His left leg has become shorter by 3 cm and there is an urgent need for surgery on the hip and hip joint. Taras feels pain every day, so strong that he needs medication. Because of the pain, he sometimes refuses to walk. Because of this, he may soon end up in a wheelchair.
