Thank you for visiting the Hingham High School Rowing Association (HHRSA) fundraising page. Our biggest fundraiser of the year, THE ERGATHON is coming up on November 10th and this year will be held outside at the Derby Street Shoppes. Every year this provides a great opportunity for folks to support the program or a particular rower. At this event, you can see the team row thousands of miles on our portable ergothon rowing machines. The kids row will be rowing outdoors at Derby to provide folks with the opportunity to see them in action, rain or shine! HHRSA is not, unlike most school affiliated programs, funded by either the Town or the School Committee budget. HHRSA is an entirely self-funded volunteer effort dedicated to providing any high school student with an opportunity to be part of a team. We are a "no cut" sport and currently crew is the second biggest student participation sport in the High School . The Ergothon helps the team raise money to purchase and maintain the boats and equipment necessary to offer the program to all who are interested. Rowing can be a lifelong sport. It is a sport that requires diligence, selflessness and teamwork and HHRSA is committed to providing every interested student-athlete an opportunity to grow, excel and be part of the team. None of this can be accomplished without the generous support of people like you. HHSRA is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, and every nickel in contributions funds operational costs and equipment. We deeply appreciate your support of Hingham Crew.
