Co-founder Alison Wright is keeping it local with her annual hike to celebrate her dad’s birthday. Starting at the foot of the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, Alison will spend two days hiking to the Point Reyes National Seashore. After crossing the bridge, she’ll traverse the Marin Headlands to Muir Beach and then head up the side of Mt. Tam, where she’ll camp overnight. The second day will take Alison along the Bolinas Ridge Trail and into the National Seashore - along the Coastal Trail to Limantour Beach and then a final climb up Mt. Wittenberg and down to the Bear Valley Visitor Center. This hike is a celebration of the Bay Area’s unique public lands access and the people whose contributions have created one of the country’s most breaktaking urban-to-wilderness pathways.
