Hiking for Hope - Amirah victims - Climb Mt. Washington – August 11, 2018
The women of Amirah are victims of sex trafficking. Each day, they climb their own “recovery mountain” of trauma. I figure that I can spare one day to climb one mountain to support them with this fundraiser. With every STEP I'll be reminded of the challenges each of these women face in their recovery. For example:
• Rachel celebrated another year of sobriety - STEP.
• Amy applied for a job - STEP.
• Sophia came out of her season of depression - STEP.
