Waku Hill is a community in the Solukhumbu region of Nepal. This is a remote area only accessible via foot trails along the steep foothills of the Himalyas. The clinic in Waku acts as the primary health post for over 240 Sherpa households. We hope to have the funds to reconstruct the building with proper flooring, stable walls, running water, eletricity, and a roof that won't leak. A team of nurses, physicians, construction managers, and others will be making the journey out to Waku this November. Along with offering medical services, we aspire to raise the funds necessary to finish getting the healthpost reconstructed. Join us along the adventure by making a contribution.
