The most powerful force to move someone from exploitation to liberation is the hope that one day they will arrive.
Amirah is a mulitfaceted aftercare organization for survivors of domestic sex trafficking. We empower women to better lives through long-term recovery, outreach services, and community education. And it is all because of hope.
On Saturday, August 17, we invite you to join us in hiking the tallest mountain in New England, Mount Washington, and support the women of Amirah. Each day, they walk a mountain in their trauma recovery work that they do. We can walk a mountain in a day to support her for her lifetime. The hike officially happens on Saturday, August 17, but if you are unable to hike on that day, please feel free to pick another day this summer. We ask that every individual raise a minimum of $250. If you are signing up as a team, please do the math (i.e. 2 person team set a goal to raise $500; 4 person team set a goal to raise $1,000)!
