I am hiking up Mount Washington again in support of Amirah.
Every year, tens of thousands of people are trafficked in the United States. Of all individuals trafficked, approximately, 80% are female and most victims of sex trafficking in New England are from the U.S. The chances of finding a new life of freedom for these victims is slim due to the lack of resources and support.
Amirah is changing that for New England!
Amirah is a local non-profit residential program designed to provide "whole person" healing and liberation that is lasting. In the life a survivor, recovery is like climbing a mountain daily. "We are hiking the mountain for a day to give her hope for a lifetime."
I'm reaching out in hopes that you will assist me in supporting the women of Amirah. The money raised will directly go to running the safe house and individualized trauma recovery programs. As a volunteer, I have seen first-hand the lives of these women being transformed and restored!
