Dear Friends and Supporters,
The HG Meals program started in late March with one goal in mind - bringing the Harlem community together to support one another through this economic and health crisis.
It was important to us that we remain connected to the community we have cultivated over the years and to address critical needs that have been exacerbated by COVID-19.
Due to the overwhelming response for our HG Meals, we are expanding it to include more partners and to provide more meals.
In partnership with local community restaurants, our HG Meals Harlem Helping Harlem program impacts the community in three ways by:
1) Providing hot, nutritious meals to our families living in shelters
2) Supporting a local business and their staff
3) Supporting our nonprofit to provide this critical work
With our expanded HG Meals Harlem Helping Harlem program we will be able to reach more families, with more meals, and with the help of more local restaurant partners. To help us deliver the meals, we have partnered with Juice Generation, a supporter who has been with Harlem Grown for years through many initiatives.
At $12 per meal:
$500 will feed 42 people, support a local restaurant, and enable Harlem Grown to provide this critical service
$250 will feed 21 people, support a local restaurant, and enable Harlem Grown to provide this critical service
$50 will feed 4 people, support a local restaurant, and enable Harlem Grown to provide this critical service
We ask that you partner with us so that together we are there for our youth, families, and the community that we have cultivated over the years and that depend on us today more than ever.
From our Farmily to yours - thank you!

P.S. While we weren't able to be on our farms this year for Earth Day, we were still able to celebrate with our community through art! Click here to see how our community came together to celebrate during this time.
