Habitat for Humanity’s National Women Build Week is an annual event created by Habitat’s Women Build program in partnership with Lowe’s. National Women Build Week is meant to spotlight the homeownership challenges faced by women and is held the week leading up to Mother’s Day. Hosting the event during this week reinforces the message that every woman can make a difference through learning and using construction skills.
This year, Habitat Suquehanna's Women Build days will be May 5th, May 9th-12th at 309 Sweetbriar, Joppa, MD. Our team goal is to raise $1,500 and $15,000 overall across all donors/teams toward this home.
You can join our team by donating to The HERstory Makers team by clicking donate on our team page. Yvette Valentin is the team leader. You can contact her at firstname.lastname@example.org or Phyliss Mosca at email@example.com with any questions.
All team members/donors are invited to volunteer on at least one of the days above.
To volunteer you will need to reserve your spot & date by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Hope to see you! We'll learn construction skills and have lots of fun along the way.
