Help Whales Lacrosse Support Wheelchair Lacrosse USA!
Whales Lacrosse is an invitation-only field lacrosse team made up of elite players from around the country who have been recommended based on their character and passion for doing good. These players will meet for the first time when they come together to play at the Sand Storm lacrosse tournament in Palm Springs January 14-16, 2022. Prior to the tournament the current players will raise money for Wheelchair Lacrosse USA, an organization that understands the importance of making competitive sports available to everyone. The money raised by Whales Lacrosse players will be used to expand the sport of wheelchair lacrosse to disabled youth and adults across the country.
Wheelchair Lacrosse USA (WLUSA) partners with rehabilitation hospitals, adaptive sport organizations, and veterans groups to host free camps, develop teams, and operate national tournaments. In these environments, wheelchair lacrosse is not just a sport, but also a crucial gateway into the greater social community.
Both Whales and WLUSA strive to honor the rich history and tradition of the sport by showing that lacrosse is truly a game for all. By donating to Wheelchair Lacrosse USA, you are helping to ensure that ALL athletes have access to a quality team sport experience. Thank you for the support!
