This is a combined fundraising effort to help two homeless dogs in great need – Sandy and Thunder. Both were rescued from the streets of Guatemala and are now safe at a shelter. They have delicate medical issues that require attention and the shelter is at full capacity, so we are helping raise the funds needed.
Thunder had a big abscess on his cheek that required medical intervention to remove the pus. She was hospitalized a few days to monitor and take care of the injury. She’s almost fully healed and back at the shelter praying for adoption.
Sandy developed an unusual issue where the anal glands become compacted due to lack of secretion. This caused a bump and ultimately could cause a tumor. This was infected already as well. She required a medical intervention under anesthesia to drain the glands and treat the inflammation. She was hospitalized a few days for recovery and is also back at the shelter.
Both Thunder and Sandy have great temperaments and would make wonderful pets if adopted. Until that day comes they need our help to pay their medical bill that together amounts to $220. Please consider making a small donation today to help them.
