Woke this morning to find this link in my Facebook page. This center was a place that helped the homeless in our area for over 8 years. More importantly they gave hope to those that were homeless and provided them with a place to recieve mail and links to other services that could get them back on their feet and reintegrated into society.
I know this because I was one of those homeless 8 years ago that they helped. Not only do I have a place of my own and happily married but I am also now a published author of Christian books.
I am contributing a percentage of these books to help keep their ministry open but no one person can do this alone.
I spoke with Brother Dan briefly this morning and I could feel his sorrow at this loss over the phone. He is not sorry for himself but for those who rely so heavily on the ministry of Acts Community Resource Center even more so as cold weather approaches our area.
Acts Community Resource Center recently feed nearly 1000 people free of charge over Thanksgiving holiday and planned to do the same over the coming Christmas holiday but now with the loss of the center new plans will have to be made.
I believe in Dan and Julie and "Broken but Beautiful Ministries" and Acts Community Resources Center and with your help we can help them continue this great work and rise from the ashes into a even more glorious place to continue their calling from God to help those in need.
God bless all those that give
