Our hearts go out to everyone who is still experiencing the impact of social distancing, helping in the fight against Covid-19. The impact to our entire nation and the world at large has been great and we hope and pray for all.
Like many organizations, we had to postpone our riding programs until further notice which impacted the well being of both our fellowship and the therapy programs. We have now been able to resume riding sessions, but several circumstances occurred that prevented us from being able to operate as planned. Although the programs activities had to be postponed past when we should have been able to start, the expenses have not. —in particular the money we would have received from session fees and other program activities.
We have taken steps to reduce our expenses, but we still need your help because we have fallen short of the funding we need to ensure the well being of our therapy horses.
The mission of Freedom Steps is to support individuals who have experienced spiritual, physical, mental or emotional challenges. We provide therapeutic opportunities for children and adults with a primary focus on Veterans, First Responders, as well as Local Heroes and their families. The video shared, is an interview with two of our Veteran clients, sharing how this program has impacted and helped them personally.
Please help spread the word by sharing our campaign on your socials! We appreciate it so much.
You can make an immediate, tangible contribution to people with disabilities, military veterans, and at-risk young people who are depending on Freedom Steps Equine Services to come back stronger than ever. With much gratitude we thank you for your support.
