Our hearts go out to everyone who is experiencing the impact of social distancing, helping in the fight against Covid-19. The impact to our entire nation and the world at large has been great and we hope and pray for all , especially our Freedom Steps participants and their families who are missing their weekly sessions with our horses.
Like many organizations, we had to postpone our riding programs until further notice and this effects the well being of both our fellowship and the therapy program. Although the programs activities have been postponed, the expenses have not. —in particular the money we would have received from session fees and other program activities.
We have taken steps to reduce our expenses, but we still need your help.
The mission of Freedom Steps is to support individuals who have experienced spiritual, physical, mental or emotional challenges. We provide therapeutic opportunities for children and adults with a primary focus on Veterans, First Responders, as well as Local Heroes and their families. We need your support!
You can make an immediate, tangible contribution to the people with disabilities, military veterans, and at-risk young people who are depending on Freedom Steps Equine Services to come back stronger than ever. With much gratitude we thank you for your support.
