Mister Rogers said, “When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, "Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.”
During this challenging and unprecedented time, Boston Children’s Museum is incredibly grateful to all of the helpers – the front line caregivers and first responders, grocery and pharmacy workers and so many more – who are committed to protecting the safety and health of our families, neighbors, and friends.
We are also thankful for the helpers who have asked how they can help support our beloved institution at this time. While our staff continues to provide unique and playful experiences for families at home through many digital platforms, our Museum relies heavily on admission revenue and the generosity of our community to sustain us. We are proud to continue to serve families across the Commonwealth at this difficult time, but our current closure to the public is detrimental to the wellbeing of our institution.
If you are able, please donate to our Helping Hands Campaign today. Boston Children’s Museum has supported children and their families for more than one hundred years, and now more than ever your support of our important work means so much. Thank you, stay well and keep on playing and learning!
