Donate now to help Zombie Patrol swim the English Channel in July 2019!
The Zombies are the swim club of students and alumni of Sea Change Preparatory, in Del Mar, CA. This intrepid team of athletes now commands five world records, were awarded a letter from President Obama, and had a day named after them by the city of Del Mar and the city of San Diego.
Your donations will help students who are defying expectations and transcending limitation. Specifically, your donations will help us fund transportation and accomodations for students in Dover, England, where students will embark on their journey across the frigid 21 miles of open sea to France.
Alumni successfully completed a relay in the English Channel in 2015 and have returned to complete a relay this year alongside current students. These alumni include students at College of Atlantic in Bar Harbor, Maine; Boise State; University of Michigan; Mira Costa College; Palomar College; and Champlain College in Vermont.
Please help support the Zombie Patrol's amazing dedication, athleticism, will-power, team bonding and spirit as a fresh new team of Zombies prepares to swim the English Channel in July 2019. Live tracking will be available for you to follow along during our the swim.
Thanks in advance for your support!
A huge thanks goes to Dan Simonelli, the Zombie Patrol's dedicated ocean swim coach, for working with the team and helping make all of this possible! This would also not be possible without the generosity and guidance of school founders Cheryl and John Allcock. And a big shout out to all the boat captains and support crews who support us.
