It’s no secret that the field of professional nature photography is male-dominated. Join Girls Who Click (GWC) and help pave the way for young women to enter this immensely fulfilling career. Through a network of the US’ most esteemed female nature photographers, GWC will offer FREE workshops for teen girls across the country. While gaining experience in the field, girls will find the confidence to pursue their passion and apply it as professional photographers and conservationists.
In addition, because we believe that nature photography is more than pretty pictures – girlswhoclick.org will offer young photographers a place to sell their top photographs, with all proceeds going to conservation organizations around the world.
Many thanks to the GWC Mentors: Karine Aigner, Kathy Adams Clark, Melissa Farlow, Amy Gulick, Morgan Heim, Jaymi Heimbuch, Esther Horvath, Denise Ippolito, Karen Kasmauski, Ami Marquis, Mary Ann McDonald, Yva Momatiuk, Joanna B Pinneo, Lynda Richardson, Katie Schuler, Brenda Tharp, Ami Vitale, Michele Westmorland, and of course, myself.
Girls Who Click workshops will always be FREE. The GWC Mentors have generously donated their valuable time as workshop leaders, but you can help by supporting the administrative costs needed to organize and run the workshops.
Support the launch of Girls Who Click and change the lives of the next generation of female nature photographers and conservationists.
With gratitude,
Suzi Eszterhas, Founder of Girls Who Click
P.S. Join the discussion about why there are so few women in the profession of nature photography and why we feel so passionate about the importance of Girls Who Click.
