The Western Railway Museum needs your help to build a new interactive interpretive display. We would like to build a Signal Garden to show how railroads used different types of signaling devices. Just like traffic signals railroads also used signals to keep everyone safe.
The museum’s youngest volunteers have been hard at work restoring several of our signals. All mechanical signals are being restored to operation and can be useable at a push of a button.
As our young volunteers are finishing up restoration of the signals we ask for your help to fund the construction of this new interactive display. We need money to pour new concrete foundations and to build interpretive signs that tell the history and technology of each display.
Can you help the Western Railway Museum build a signal garden?
