This coming September, Americans will pause in remembrance marking the 75th Anniversary of the End of World War II.
More than 400,000 Americans gave their lives to secure our nation’s freedom. Amid happiness, there was recognition that the true meaning of the day was best represented by those who were not present to celebrate.
Seventy-five years later, The Greatest GENERATIONS Foundation will pay tribute to the historic anniversary dedicated to all Americans who served in the armed forces and as civilians during World War II who helped preserve freedom and democracy.
This project titled: OPERATION AMERICAN SPIRIT will consist of seven (7) large 75-FOOT-LONG CUSTOM 48-STAR AMERICAN FLAGS to be flown over seven (7) locations significant to the war effort with seven (7) World War II veterans in each location to honor the 16 million Americans who served in World War II.
Those sites include:
1. Pearl Harbor (Hawaii)
2. Normandy (France)
3. Bomber Command (England)
4. Ardennes (Belgium)
5. Manila (Philippines)
6. Port Moresby (New Guinea)
7. Washington D.C.
Upon return, the flags along with a collection of photo portrayals highlighting 75 heroes of World War II will be exhibited at seven Internationally known war museums to perpetuate the American Spirit and Their World War II Triumph.
Therefore, we are asking for your consideration to join TGGF in helping raise funds to purchase seven (7) custom American Made Flags to help complete this mission.
NOTE: All donations over $75 will receive an exclusive Greatest Generation photo album honoring the lives of American World War II veterans.
We hope you will consider donating to help support our project and continue telling the stories of the heroes of World War II.
