Simple acts of kindness should not be the exception to the rule. Throughout our lives we have been taught to treat others how you would want to be treated. Every human being deserves respect. As a child, you mimic what you see as your family sets the standard; helping those in need, sharing, motivating and giving when you can. In our family, it was a natural extension to help others.
In a world where we now see people hurting, devastating situations destroying people’s livelihoods, something must be done. We could no longer stand by and silently watch. This initiated the birth of our new non-profit organization called Expressions of Humanity Foundation, which is a 501 (c)(3) organization registered in the state of California.
Expressions of Humanity Foundation (EOHF) provides emergency humanitarian aid, promotes global activism and provides life skill training to under-served communities by leveraging education, media and technology.
Our inspiration came from our matriarch, whose strength, love and courage led us to this very moment. The impact of observing her countless contributions, the many hearts she touched and the numerous people she healed as a nurse throughout her lifetime set the example of what it meant to be of selfless service and a better human being. It was this seed planted, and our desire to help our fellow human beings, that brought our dream to reality.
We have partnered, as family, to open this foundation to address some of the projects near and dear to our hearts.
We have four main projects:
· Project T.A.A.P. - The Autism Advancement Project helps children on the autism spectrum between the ages of 12-17 learn essential social and life skills needed to start their own companies or enter the workforce.
· Project Destiny - Provides laptops to school aged children who do not have access to equipment or technology.
· The W.O.M.B. Initiative - Woman Owned Multinational Business Initiative - Offers women across the globe financial start-up funds required to open their own business.
· Tides of Courage - Created to save lives in Angola, Africa by providing swimming lessons and lifesaving skills.
With our groundwork established, we are asking for donations so that we can fund projects like these and much more. Your donations will help us cover operations and project related costs. We are passionate about lifting the world up and serving humanity. We need your help. Please express your love of humanity by donating today.
