We need your help!
Refuge Ridge needs to expand, and we are in immediate need of at least 2 new habitats! Every week we get requests from around the U.S. asking us to help wolfdogs in need. We are currently at capacity and the need for homes has never been more dire then it is right now. Please help us to expand our capacity to help these special animals!
Refuge Ridge provides sanctuary for wolfdogs, and well as a variety of wildlife that live within its borders. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit and have been recently accredited by the American Sanctuary Association (ASA). Refuge Ridge is home to approximately 40 rescued residents.
Habitats for wolfdogs need to meet specific requirements for safety, and also provide them with as much of a “natural” habit as possible. Refuge Ridge takes great pride in making sure our habitats meet residents needs for space, enrichment, and as much of a normal pack life as possible. Habitats are costly (approximately $6,000 per habitat), and our current resources/donations do not allow for new habitats at this time. There are many costs associated with building new habitats, such as renting equipment to clear current land, materials needed, and labor beyond what our volunteers can provide. This will be a big expansion project for us! Our facility is run completely by volunteers and our operations are made possible through donations from the community. Your support of Refuge Ridge in this project will make a huge impact for years to come, as we continue to rescue and save wolfdogs!
