For all of those proud Americans who are often asking " how can we help support Veterans and their families ?" Our nonprofit Veteran's Club INC is working hard to develop a beautiful community for Homeless Veterans to live, heal and recover called Camp Restoration. You may have seen it on local and national news outlets. We are really excited about this project as it will help close the loop on homelessness for Veterans. We broke ground on this project in March but have been delayed due to Covid, however we are ready to continue mission and need you help.
This program will allow homeless Veterans to live in our community ( Camp Restoration) for at least a year while we have clinicians and other professionals come in to help our Veterans heal, recover, and be equipped thoroughly so that when they leave the program they can successfully live independently once again. We want to end the vicious cycle that our homeless have to endure and give them an opportunity to actually get better.
Here is a list of programs we want to offer the Veterans who come to Camp Restoration:
Mental and Physical Treatment
Employment and Career services training and certifications
Culinary Training by Executive Chefs around Louisville
Social Skills Training
Budgeting training along with banking education
Our Founder and CEO Jeremy Harrell says this about Camp Restoration, " we have to do more than apply band-aids to the situation." " We must accept responsibility to ensure we are doing all we can to help our homeless Veterans get back on their feet through healing, recovery, education, faith, and most of all love."
Please consider donating to this historical project. This model is unique and has caught the attention of the nation. Do you want to be a part of the solution and of history? We appreciate anything you can give to help. Thank you!
