Help Them Help Us: In dedication to Papa Barks.
Every 90 minutes a person in this country is diagnosed with ALS, and every 90 minutes another person will lose their battle. This event is for The ALS Association North Carolina Chapter in dedication to my father, nicknamed Papa Barks.
In September 2019, Marks Bark's father, Papa Barks, was diagnosed with ALS. Papa Barks is a kind and loving father, a U.S. Air Force veteran, and an all-around kind soul. In efforts to fight back against ALS, improve ALS research and to provide hope and love to his father, Mark Barks is hosting this event with the aid of his friends and a passionate community.
Throughout January 15th to February 15th, a group of streamers on twitch will be conducting a number of different streams to raise money for this event. Each event will have their own donation incentives, so please keep an eye out on Mark's twitter account (https://twitter.com/Marks_Barks ) for any of the events he will be retweeting!
- At the end of the month we will be hosting a drawing for anyone who donated throughout the event; what you could win currently consists of a free art commission by amazing community artists Boltie, Gerce, Kirra Bunny, Tokyozilla and others! Stay tuned to Marks twitter for updates on the drawing info!
- As the event planning continues, and streamers set up for the event, more and more drawings and incentives will be added!
Thank you so much for taking the time to check out the website and page. If you've donated, you have my sincere love and appreciation for your contributions. By doing so, you are not only fighting ALS, but you are donating to support Papa Barks directly as well as other members in the state of North Carolina to receive help in their fight against ALS.
