Daily life certainly looks a bit different for most people these days. We have had to adapt to this new way of living for the time being and the unknown can be unsettling. While life has certainly changed, the one thing that hasn't changed is the care our residents receive every day. When we commit to providing a safe home for an animal, we mean forever and we take that responsibility seriously.
We have over 100 residents at The Riley Farm. In just the last few months, we have welcomed piglets, rats, chicks, chinchillas, sugar gliders, and a pregnant sheep to The Riley Farm family. These animals depend on us each day. We are so fortunate to have the best volunteers and supporters. Unfortunately, we had to pause our volunteer program to make sure the farm continues to be a safe place during this global health crisis. We truly miss our volunteers! Less people on the farm means more work for fewer people but it is work that we are glad to do to provide the best care for our residents. We were also hoping to be open to the public by now. We were so excited to start tours and share our special residents and their stories. While we are missing having volunteers on site and we are disappointed we can't welcome visitors, we are fortunate to be able to stay connected to our volunteers and supporters virtually!
We are so grateful for everyone who has been part of, continues to be, and will become part of The Riley Farm Rescue journey. Your support means the world to us! We know this is a challenging time, but if you are able to, please donate to support the forever residents of The Riley Farm Rescue.
