HELP the Forgotten People at Nursing Homes!
(This campaign was updated on May 22 to reflect the most recent statistics.)
As of May 22nd, nursing homes & assisted living facilities account for 42% of COVID-19 Deaths (Washington State 61.1%). COVID-19 claimed over 32,930 lives in U.S. nursing homes! The virus first hit Life Care Center in Kirkland Washington, it now has infected residents and employees in at least 5,600 nursing homes nationwide. And all of these facilities are struggling with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), a lack of PPE played a significant role in US nursing homes becoming hotbeds for the spread of COVID-19.
In response to the scarcity of essential supplies, NAWMBA Seattle is running this campaign HELP the Forgotten People at Nursing Homes. We are bringing awareness and needs of medical staff and senior residents. With your generous donation, we would be able to help more facilities to get more PPE and #SaveLivesTogether.
We’ve seen the power of our community in action many times before; your help truly matters. Thank
Your donations will help nursing homes at
Phase 1: Two hardest hit counties in Washington:

- Snohomish County
Phase 2: West Coast:
As a token of our appreciation, your donation of $50 or more entitles you to our annual membership (value $200) and all associated benefits, including our upcoming webinars. Offer ends June 30, 2020.
