Nelson Mandela once said, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” Knock Knock Children’s Museum is leading change in the nine parish Capital Region by working tirelessly to close the knowledge and early childhood education gap in our community. Knock Knock is a community spark for engaging, playful learning experiences that inspire and support lifelong learning.
I am supporting Knock Knock by joining other individuals, organizations and institutions in the Capital Area Region by participating in the Knock Knock! Who’s There? I’m There! Campaign. We recognize the importance of investing in young children for the future of our community. Funds raised through the Knock Knock! Who’s There? I’m There! Campaign support the museum’s innovative programming, outreach and education initiatives. You may not be aware, but 40% of Knock Knock’s operating budget comes directly from philanthropy. Your gift to the Knock Knock! Who’s There? I’m There! Campaign will allow Knock Knock to continue to provide research-based learning opportunities for children, educators and caregivers in Baton Rouge.
My personal goal is to raise $1,500. Your support will help! The size of your gift is not important—what is important is that this special place reflect the support and love of the entire community!
Thank you for your support of Knock Knock Children’s Museum. Together we will make a difference!
Sincerely, Lindsey Thomas Easterly
