Dear Fellow Golden Retriever Lover,
After volunteering with NORCAL Golden Retriever Rescue (NGRR) for about a year, we have gotten to meet some amazing people during this process. NGRR is one of the few organizations that will pay for a surrender dog medical expensive. It’s because of your generosity that NGRR has been able to help over 120 Golden Retrievers this year. Our average cost per golden in our care has now $936. Can we count on you to make a gift this year? So that you can see the impact of gifts like yours, I’d like to share the story of two very special Goldens.
HOW HAS COVID-19 PANDEMIC HAS AFFECT US
We are so fortunate that we are still able to take all surrender goldens at this time. But during this pandemic we have halted out all adoptions. Which has a domino effect within our organization.
WHY YOUR GIFT IS SO IMPORTANT
As you know, NGRR is an all-volunteer organization. All the Goldens that come into our care receive medical checkups, necessary treatments, and sometimes behavioral evaluation and training, before finding new homes. If you have had a pet, you know how quickly the bills add up. Our mission is to find homes for ALL Goldens, not just the young, easy-to-adopt ones. As you are making your Giving Tuesday donations, please consider making a gift to the NORCAL Golden Retriever Rescue Fund so that we can continue to help all goldens; young, old, and with special needs who need to be cared for before being placed with their forever family. On behalf of all the Goldens awaiting rescue, thank you for your generosity! Please accept our warmest wishes in this current time .
