Shanti came to the Sanctuary when he was three months old. He was born at a Long Island winery and was being raised for beef. He has been blind since birth and has a severe limp which makes it difficult for him to walk properly. Despite these problems Shanti is a happy and affectionate calf. He lives with his best friend, a gentle little goat named Gabriel who helps guide him to his food and plays with him every day.
Shanti needs surgery to correct a malformed hip. We need your help to fund his surgery and therapy. Please help us give Shanti the chance to enjoy running with his friend Gabriel and have long and joyful life.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity!
