Maggie is a young homeless pup rescued from the streets of Guatemala. When rescued she was unable to move and trembled really bad (video). She couldn’t stand on her own legs. She couldn’t eat.
Vet evaluation determined she had myositis, which is an inflammation in the muscles caused by infection. Who knows how long this sweet innocent girl suffered like that on the streets. She was stabilized at the vet and stayed there on treatment for more than two weeks. Antibiotics and anti-inflammation medication was key. She was also severely undernourished, and it was hard to feed her. She had to be fed by hand as she couldn’t eat due to her shaking.
She’s improving, and we are helping her by raising the funds needed for her vet bill. Please consider donating to help her start a new life free from suffering and debt.
