Cats, as you all know, are amazing creatures. We need your help to save the life of two such super creatures.
Kangaroo and Chaos were both diagnosed with Feline infectious peritonitis (FIP) about a month ago. Kangaroo has the wet abdominal FIP, which causes the big belly, and Chaos has neurologic FIP. At his worst, Chaos couldn’t walk or stand. He wasn’t going to give up though, and wasn’t ready to cross the rainbow bridge.
We started them on an experimental therapy for FIP that seems to be having an amazing effect. Their symptoms have improved and they are both thriving. They are about 1 month through their treatment, and the treatment lasts about 3 months.
This experimental medicine is amazing, but also expensive. Each bottle costs $75, and we go through at least a bottle a week for each cat.
Because we are a rescue primarily funded by donations, we need people like you to help give these babies the care they need to live a long happy life.
Kangaroo is a very cuddly sweetheart . He loves playing. Give him anything new and his explorations of it will rival a curious scientist.
Chaos loves to shoulder surf and is a very active kitty. His personality is just starting to blossom now that he doesn’t feel so sick anymore.
FIP is almost always fatal. But because of this amazing experimental medication, Kangaroo and Chaos now have a chance to be adopted and live a long, happy life. They are fighting hard for a good life and we want to help them in this fight.
Please consider donating to help us continue providing a literal life-saving medication.
Any amount raised over our goal will go toward helping other kitties in our rescue. It's kitten season, and we get daily requests for help.
Purrs and headbonks!
