Rescue takes no breaks. Help support us as we continue to take in shelter dogs during Covid19.
Rebound has already “pulled” 15 dogs in March and 17 in April (including 3 ASPCA Humane Law Enforcement case dogs) and placed them in approved foster homes. We intend to continue an accelerated program of approving new fosters and hopefully getting more dogs out of the NYC shelter system and beyond during this difficult health crisis. As is our policy, our budget must continue to maintain all vetting and rehabilitation for any dogs we take into our rescue. This is where we need your help.
Due to the COVID crisis, many potential adoptions are on “hold” until social distancing is not a requirement. Our dogs in foster must continue to be taken care of with training, vetting, etc. Also during this time Rebound will not be able to rely on rehoming fees, a necessary credit to our budget. We are also experiencing a significant decline in individual donations and canceled monthly gifts, which we attribute to peoples' loss of jobs/income. We anticipate this will continue for at least three to six months, if not longer.
GoFundMe is matching donations up to $50,000 for #GivingTuesdayNow! Please consider a donation of any size to support our efforts during this critical time! THANK YOU!
