The Chappell Hill Historical Society was founded in 1964 to preserve the Circulating Library, built in 1911. Over the years the Society has grown and is now the sole responsible party to maintaining The Providence Baptist Church, the Rock Store, the Circulating Library, the Chappell Hill Museum and the Visitor Reception Center (H.C. Brandt House). To maintain the upkeep, exhibits, community events and membership of these properties, it requires countless time and donations. Donations are needed for the upkeep of our properties and operating expenses.
We need your help so that we can continue to keep preserving our history for the next generation. We do as many fundraisers as we can think of to help supplement our expenses to keep the museum open and free.
