Over the course of 2019, we have taken in many urgent medical and behaviorally challenged dogs. We have taken in dogs that would otherwise have been left to die, or euthanized for treatable conditions. With taking on such delicate and urgent cases comes large veterinary bills. We do our best to fundraise throughout the year, but sometimes its just not enough. We do NOT spare expenses when it comes to our dogs. We use the best veternarians in the area and go to great lenghts to save the lives of the animals in our care.
Because of our life saving efforts, we have found ourselves in a tremdendous amount of debt. Currently, we are almost $40,000 in debt with UPenn. There are several other veterary offices that we use, who are also in debt with, but Upenn is our largest bill. Unfortunately, with bills like this looming over us, we are unable to take on ANY urgent animals at this time. Once our bills are paid down, we can certainly continue our lifesaving efforts for the cities most vulnerable and at risk dogs, but until then, we cannot help the neediest of the in need.
Please consider a TAX DEDUCTIBLE donation toward our rescue efforts and help us get back on track to saving Phillys homeless animals!
