Four of our newest Fur-Angel Foundation pups, Makali'i, Nanala, Dahlia, and Willow are fighting against parvovirus and we are in desperate need of donations! When they first came into our care, we did routine vet visits which included a parvo test. Although their initial tests came back negative, parvo has a 14-day incubation period and is very fatal for puppies.
We have had experience with parvo in the past and we can say with certainty that this was our worst fear. Our girls need your help more than ever! Please help our sweet babies get the life-saving treatment needed, especially Willow and Nanala who are in need of extra help. These two are still pretty wiped out and have no interest in eating. They’re obviously feeling terrible, therefore, their doctor has added two more meds to help them feel better. Our fear is that they will not respond favorably to the medication and will not want to eat or drink on their own.
The estimate for 3 days of hospitalization for all 4 pups is about $10,000 and we do not have that. If you can make a small donation, please consider doing so to help provide the supportive care needed to save their lives. We understand that times are hard on everyone now, but parvo is extremely insidious and works very quickly, so immediate hospitalization is needed in order for them to have a fighting chance. They are currently being treated by the amazing staff at Waipahu Waikele Pet Hospital who we have worked closely with for many years and are confident that they are in the best hands! We appreciate ANY amount that you can spare and are beyond hopeful that all 4 girls will make a full and speedy recovery. THANK YOU!! – Fur-Angel Foundation Staff
