The Iron Wolf Soccer Academy was formed a year ago to bring an opportunity for young children to learn the basic skills of soccer and develop any interest they may have in striving to become an elite player.
Operated by the Liths Soccer Club (a 501(c)(3) organization), the academy is open to all children ages 3 and up that would like to learn soccer and be a part of a dynamic team.
To provide the best experience for the children, equipment and supplies have to be purchased, rent has to be paid, coaches and referees need to be paid and things only expand from there.
To grow the academy and provide the excitement and challenges that young children desire and deserve we need to field a team (or teams) in a league and compete against other children. This takes money that the parents may not readily have available; we will not say no to a child because of lack of finances.
The board of directors of the Liths Soccer Club is an all-volunteer group. They donate as much time as needed to keep the club and academy operating.
We don’t want to see any of the children disappointed because we can’t provide them with the proper training and guidance. To be involved in sports and participating on a team is a valuable part of growing up and learning to be a good member of society. We want to ensure that no child is denied this essential experience.
To accomplish our goals we need financial resources, resources that we are in dire need of. As a non-profit we are dependent on donations for our major revenue stream and currently we are struggling to meet our obligations. We need your support, the support of anyone that values the camaraderie and spirit that team sports can provide for our kids.
If at all possible, please donate any sum you desire. You support will be greatly appreciated. It is tax deductible.
Thank you.
