As with many nonprofit organizations struggling financially during this crisis, so is North Beach Artists Guild (NBAG). NBAG’s income has almost completely stopped, i.e. commissions from artist sales in the Gallery in The Gallery of Ocean Shores, fees for NBAG’s weekly classes and Studio 6 class fees and use fees all stopped when we had to close our doors per Governor Inslee. It appears this could possibly be the situation for 2 months or more.
NBAG’s fixed expenses of $3000 per month, i.e. rent, utilities, insurance, have not stopped. After reviewing our reserve funds, NBAG needs an additional $10,000 (amount may need to be adjusted) to ride us through this crisis period.
NBAG is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity that has had a presence in Ocean Shores since June of 2011 and would like to be here for 10 more years. All contributions are greatly appreciated and are tax deductible as allowed by the law. Our reason for existence is simply stated in our Mission and Vision statements.
North Beach Artists Guild mission recognizes that community life is enriched through the arts and is committed to the Grays Harbor community by connecting artists as well as bringing art and art education to the public.
North Beach Artists Guild Vision is to grow the local art center to include facilities for visual arts, 3D arts and performing arts, and facilitate the development of art programs to penetrate art education further into the community.
