The New Hampshire Dance Institute has served over 40,000 children in Kindergarten to 12th grades throughout the Monadnock region for the past 34 years by providing an introductory arts education dance program in schools during the school day. NHDI has helped children gain confidence and discipline, develop teamwork skills and concentration, boost their critical thinking and creativity and expand their cultural literacy, all while reaching children that may not have the opportunity to participate in youth arts education if it were not for NHDI, due to financial or demographic barriers.
As we celebrate our 35th year of service, we are faced with significant financial challenges due to the impact the COVID-19 pandemic is having on our operations.
Since March 2020 NHDI has pivoted programming delivery to continue to provide meaningful and engaging dance classes through instructional videos, outdoor pop-up classes, an in-person Summer Intensive and as we head into the Fall, off-site instruction.
NHDI is dedicated to continuing to provide these opportunities for the communities that we serve and it is more important than ever to deliver programming that benefits the social, emotional and physical well-being of our children.
We have a very ambitious goal to raise $35,000 with the hope that NHDI will thrive in our 35th year and be in a position to continue to deliver this life-changing program. It is vital to the long term health and prosperity of our communities that we invest in our youth through arts education.
We urge you to be a champion for our children by making a gift today to NHDI.
