**UPDATE**
Thank you to all of those individuals, families, organizations and companies that have given to Casa Esperanza! We have phenomenal supporters who believe in our wonderful mission to help families in their time of need.
Our roof is 2/3 of the way done! We still have much to do! We need to sheetrock, rip out carpets, clean the whole house and change out the damaged furniture.
We want to thank our wonderful community for all that you have done to get our families back “home”. Please check back for future updates. (See below for the original story).
We have experienced a disaster at our home that has affected many New Mexican families. For the first time in 26 years, we have had to close our doors. Casa Esperanza was severely damaged during the hail and storms. Continuous rain storms have further devastated much of our house. While the rain is a welcomed sight in the desert, it has destroyed a majority of our 28 rooms that families seeking access to medical treatment rely on. In addition, there is water and roof damage in our hallways, boardroom, laundry, kitchen and offices. The Casa Esperanza families are all in turmoil from being displaced due to the unforeseen disaster. Each of these families rely on Casa Esperanza and the resources we provide during their life saving medical treatment. These clients become part of our family and it truly breaks our heart that we cannot open the doors for our families. We are asking the community to find it in their hearts to help us during this challenging time. We want to get our families back “home” as soon as possible. Now is the time to become a part of the Casa Esperanza family.
