Help us support New Jersey's response to the Coronavirus Pandemic. Donate or Volunteer, or both!
New Jersey VOAD is a coalition of organizations that contribute to developing and sustaining community resiliency throughout the disaster cycle. At our foundation is relationships—building partnerships to improve outcomes for people and communities affected by disasters by facilitating cooperation, communication, coordination and collaboration among nonprofit organizations, community-based groups, government agencies and for-profit companies. We are the New Jersey affiliate of National VOAD—the recognized non-governmental leader of the disaster preparedness, response and recovery sector. We are the only disaster network in New Jersey that links and harnesses both the power of voluntary organizations and government. Our VOAD members and partners represent a powerful force of goodwill in both our local communities and across New Jersey. Through our network, we provide the leadership that makes our communities stronger and more resilient; that in times of need, delivers hope for a more positive future. We operate New Jersey's HelpNJNow volunteer registry which recruits and assigns volunteers across New Jersey's non-profits, community and faith based organizations, and government agencies, to meet the acute needs of those affected by our current pandemic.
